John P. (Jay) Borneman

Chairman and CEO

Jay Borneman earned a Bachelors degree in Chemistry from St. Joseph's University (Philadelphia) in 1980, a Masters in Chemistry from SJU in 1983 and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from SJU in 1986. He is the fourth generation o his family in the business and has been associated with homeopathic firms throughout his life serving as Vice President of John A. Borneman and Sons, later Boiron-Borneman, from 1980 through 1987; joining Standard Homeopathic company and Hyland's, Inc. at that time. Mr. Borneman is a principal owner of the company and also serves as President of Hyland's, inc., the company's wholly owned distribution subsidiary. Mr. Borneman manages the company's sales and marketing as well as overseeing the organization's financial aspects and strategic development. In addition to serving on Standard's Board, Mr. Borneman serves as a director of The National Center for Homeopathy as well as an Editor and Chairman of the Council on Pharmacy for the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States.
